La mia esperienza parte con il mitico Commodore64, dove mi sono cimentato nei primi passi della programmazione, passando poi all’Amiga 500, compagna di parecchie notti insonni.
Ho iniziato la mia carriera informatica “professionale” in ambiente Mainframe IBM 370, dove mi sono formato come DBA sul primo DB relazionale: il DB2 IBM e nello Storage Management.
Successivamente ho lavorato in progetti di sviluppo di applicazioni di supporto decisionale e come Internet Provider.
Parallelamente mi sono laureato in Economia, ma la passione tecnica alla fine ha prevalso portandomi a specializzare nell’ambito sistemistico Microsoft. Da lì ho continuato a coltivare la doppia anima di System e Database Administrator.
Dal 2004 sono MCSE e con l’avvento delle versioni Windows e SQL Server 2008 ho aggiornato le mi competenze alle ultime certificazioni, cosa che mi ha portato a diventare anche MCT e collaborare con vari CPLS.
Attualmente lavoro come freeland nel settore della formazione tecnica e della consulenza specialistica su reti Microsoft e Database SQL server.
Sono un grande appassionato di virtualizzazione e ritengo che in fin dei conti le attuali "ultime" frontiere rappresentano un "ritorno ad architetture passate" (cfr. VM/CMS, IBM, 1972).

My experience starts with the legendary Commodore 64, where I competed in the first steps of programming, then moved to the Amiga 500, companion of many sleepless nights.
I started my "professional" career in computer technology on IBM 370 Mainframe, where I have been trained as a DBA on the first relational DB: IBM DB2.
Then I worked in development projects and decision support applications and even as Internet service provider.
At the same time I have earned a degree in Economics, but my technical passion prevailed leading me to specialize in Microsoft System administration. From there I continued to cultivate the dual personality of System and Database Administrator.
Since 2004 MCSE and with the advent of Windows and SQL Server versions 2008, I updated my skills and certifications, which led me to become even MCT and collaborate with various CPLS.
I currently work as freeland in the field of technical training and specialist consultant on networks and Microsoft SQL database server.
I'm a big fan of virtualization and I think that, in the end, the current "last" frontiers represent a "return to the past architecture" (see VM / CMS, IBM, 1972).
